Planning our NSW part of the trip

Instead of leaving it for last, we’ve decided to travel NSW first, otherwise we could see it being missed… and NSW has so many beautiful spots to visit!!

Since we have dived a fair bit of the NSW coast (South West Rocks down to Eden) in the past, we decided to go West and the plan is to do the ‘Darling River Run’ until it reaches the mighty Murray at the NSW / VIC border…

This league of the trip is being organised by Anthony…

After visiting family and friends making some last minute adjustments to the rig (once again, Anthony amazes me by being a great handy man!!), we plan on starting our trip in Mudgee heading West to Broken Hill where we join the ‘Darling River Run’, staying in stations along the way…

Points of interest:

  • Trilby Station
  • Eldee Station
  • Kinchega National Park

I’m curious to see how close we end up sticking to this plan…

You can dive pretty much anywhere you want, but no, we aren’t planning on diving the Darling… and we left our tanks at Anthony’s mum’s house… heavy and occupying too much space 🙁
